Co-Owner/Pastry Chef

After graduating Canadore College’s Culinary Management Program in 2005, Kiera moved to Toronto where she worked for Juno Award winning vocalist and the Food Network’s Italian Chef Carmine Accogli, owner of The Big Ragu. In 2007, she moved on to the title of Pastry Chef for world renown Chef Susur Lee at his restaurants Susur and Madeline’s .  Kiera returned to North Bay in 2009 where she opened the Opera Bakery Cafe.  Two years later, she received the 2011 Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award as voted by the North Bay and District Chamber of Commerce.  Kiera continues to delight palates with her creative desserts.
